  • Beschrijving: In prison, four somewhat flighty characters: Kontos, Psilos, Alekos and Sinoué, who are bullied by the guards like all the other prisoners, decide to find their old selves again. They unwind by playing ball, going to church, learning to dance, reciting poetry or extracts from theatrical plays, beating each other up and suffering – sometimes to their limits. They get drunk and rebel, get into conflicts with the guards and set fire to their mattresses. One day, they escape and head to the sea, where they meet a tragic end.
